If you live more than 100 miles from Charleston, South Carolina, you can still have Dick speak to your book club or group - via speakerphone! Virtual Author Visits are interactive, great fun, and easy to arrange. Here's how to schedule one:


First, contact Dick at (843) 881-6080 or dickcote@corinthianbooks.com and arrange a date and time. Dick does not charge a fixed speaker's fee to book clubs, but asks that each club offer an honorarium in proportion to its size. He donates a portion of his honoraria and speaker's fees to to Crisis Ministries, the non-profit interfaith group which operates Charleston's battered women's shelter and soup kitchen for the homeless, and to Habitat for Humanity.

Second, place an order for the books your club will need. Book clubs receive 20% discount, free shipping, and signed copies. Free Reading Group Guides are available for download at www.corinthianbooks.com. VISA and MasterCard orders are welcome, as well as personal checks.

One to three days in advance of the scheduled time, confirm the date and time.
On the day of the event, place a telephone with a loudspeaker ("speakerphone") at the center of the group, dial Dick's number, and he'll talk to the group about the book and then take questions from the audience.
